This spider brass skimmer is a traditional asian cooking tool for woks. Handmade brass wire mesh skimmer with bamboo handle use to scoop up bolied or fried food from sizzling hot liquids. The long bamboo handle keeps the hands at a safe distance from the heat. The chinesse name is woksang and the spider name refers to the drawing that the wire makes. These are larger sizes as they are use in pots of restuarnats and local markets.
